Never one to back down from conflict, Draymond Green was once again in the heart of controversy. He got into an altercation with both Tari Eason and Dillon Brooks in the second quarter, which resulted in a technical and a flagrant foul, but he was able to escape being sent out automatically.
The situation escalated when Steph Curry, after being hip-checked by Brooks, taunted with a finger gesture that sparked a brief melee. Curry, Brooks, and Green were all slapped with technicals.
Later, Green fell on Eason, kicking him in the head during a loose-ball scuffle. His flagrant was reviewed, but no ejection followed — a close call that shifted the energy inside Chase Center.
Jimmy Butler, Curry, and Warriors Rally Late
Despite a seven-point halftime deficit, the nba golden state warriors roared back with an 18-1 run in the third. Rookie Brandin Podziemski poured in 26 points, while Jimmy Butler, battling injury, erupted for 14 of his 27 points in the fourth.
